What's up OB. I do a lot of bank fishing and am looking for a backpack type tackle box/bag. Doing a Google search they apparently just want me to buy random cheap temu gear.

Looking for something like this. LINK

Wanted to see what y'all are using or have any recommendations

TIA

I have a “Beyond Braid” tackle backpack that has worked out great

Have also had my eye on the Plano 3700 size backpack

I did the cheap temu stuff off eBay before there was temu, had the same 3 bags for over a decade until I left one in bed of truck last summer for like a month and sun got to it. Then I left another in my buddies boat for a weekend in a salty icechest muck threw everything away. Down to a green bag now and just swap the items I need in and out of it. But my favorite set up is lite, just a fany pack with a G box, and some worms or swim baits. Keep it simple

I have been trying to find out what wadefishing backpack the late Theofield Bourgeoise used. There are a lot of pictures of him online but I can’t make out the name. Anyone know ?

Don't sleep on a fly fishing vest. All though they are unpopular probably because of the nerd level; they are very practical!

I'm not sure what Theophile used but I own both the Texas Best and the Feral concepts Chest rig. I really like the Texas best as it is an all in one unit. I can carry a ton of stuff on it. The Feral concepts is much lighter but not near the storage capacity unless you also purchase the wade belt. The one issue with the FC is the way it opens you have to be careful when opening it as it opens foward and all your stuff could fall in the water.

After watching Youtube, I believe this is the one Theophile used: Foreverlast G2

Plano Z Series.
I hate zippers on a tackle bag. I have had several of these Plano Z Series for many years and like them very much.
I haven't used their backpack but I would.

wadefishing backpack

Ive wade fished with that Beyond Braid backpack and it is small enough to where it’s not cumbersome and has a rod holder for extra rod.

The Feral chest pack and other Feral products work well

Generally I just use a belt and/or a shoulder sling.

Ive seen someone use that Texas Best contraption and they had issues with being able to access all the shite and seemed very cumbersome. Less is more when wadefishing

I used it for 4 days a couple of weeks ago and had no issues with it. It can be a pain trying to get a rod slid down into the holder but so was the feral chest rig when I used it.
