Just placed a hold on 2. having my dad go pick them up.
I bought my dad a Revo SX for his birthday last week and he still thinks it's a black max. He is exchanging his SX for the combo. Saved me 40 bucks on his birthday gift and him 50 to 100 since he doesn't have to buy a rod now.
I'm still 50 bucks behind because I'm getting one too. Sometimes I hate this forum. Thanks for the heads up
Edit: The Academy on Louisiana Ave in Laffy had 10 combos when I called.

I wish the rod weren't an obnoxious color so that it wouldn't stand out from my other rods.
Show her that the revo X at academy is 100 bucks just for the reel and she might get it.

I'm just glad I won't be able to hear my dad cast from 200 yards away. He has had the same POS reel for 15 years that screams like a demon every cast.
