Just started misting in NWLA. We need it bad.

I've been glued to the radar for 48 hours.

When LSU beats Bama in football the fields will be full of water from the stream of tears.

That map has Memphis as abnormally dry. We haven‘t had rain in a few weeks. Prior to that we have had one of the wettest years on record.

I think we are still way past avg rainfall for the year.

I don’t remember they last time it rained here I know for sure it hasn’t rained in September. I got a 30 percent chance tomorrow and then back to zero or 10 percent for the next 10 days.. it’s dry and dusty as shite.

Serious question from an Aussie transplant that's been through some serious droughts before moving. What constitutes drought conditions here in LA? Is it just a certain amount of time without rain, or is it more to do with water available in the aquifers?
