where bouts? I may have asked in the past. Don't remember
My cousins live in Columbiana. South of Beeswax on 28 and some on 25. Hunted there many times and fished Lay lake as well
Just a few weekends ago I was up in Chelsea. Off Harris Rd (Girl Scout Rd) for a wedding. Real pretty back in there

There seem to be alot of people who hunt, but very few sportsmen and they seem to congregate on public land.
I've noticed that there are more and more grown novice hunters. I think these days there are a lot of guys who don't know anything or have never hunted in their life, check out the hunting shows and think that looks like fun so off to the woods they go with no knowledge of what's ethical or what's not. I also think a larger portion than in the past of this generation of "hunting show adults" were raised without a father figure teaching them the woods and hunting ethics. Some are just red neck white trash. I feel for anyone who is dependent on public land for their outdoor activities. It's a matter of principle. You shouldn't have to spend money to avoid A-holes but you do.

Should have took up their offer. You could have bitched at them, shot crows, gone home and ate your crow.
Yeh Public land is full of yahoos thinking playing dress up in tacticool cammo and playing with guns in woods is the way it is. Just have to be ready for them.

Crow hunting is a one time deal for a given piece of property. Once it is shot, it is over for the day basically.
So, it sounds like you only get to shoot once and then the hunt is over for the day? Just doesn't sound like something to waste a day doing...

I have private hunting land and have a place surrounded by public. I actually prefer the public, but it does help that it produces some of the biggest bucks in the state. I have had the occasional jackleg, but i have access through my land to a pretty secluded patch of public. Just recently ive had a group of boys that found some of my flooded timber. Luckily there is plenty, but i hope they arent spreading the word;.went 10 years without seeing another duck hunter in there.

Out of curiosity, which wmas did you usually hunt? And did you usually hunt on weekends or weekdays?
Biloxi marsh and pass a lou, I have hunted pearl a few times with no problem. However, 2 of those take a lot of effort to hunt.

You have to be able to bounce around to different locations separated by some distance for the most part. It is usually an early morning - early afternoon activity.
