Spook - midsized, but Pop-R has been better for me for bigger fish.

Buzz bait is my favorite.

My number two is a floating lizard over thick grass or lily pads.

Although the most violent strikes i see are when i throw a scum frog. Either the bass ignore it or they absolutely kill it. I rarely see a middle ground with them. Fun stuff.

I learned on Chicot over the duckweed. Talk about a blast. Use braid and don't set the hook until you confirm the frog is gone. Can't wait to do it again.

You will get some legit fish to bite. The little bass stay away from the frogs most of the time.

I throw buzz baits and spooks mostly, but for nostalgia purposes the old clear tiny torpedo brings back memories.

Speaking of spooks, I really liked the yum moneyhound last year. My buddy did real well with it...

So you guys use the Zoom horny toad like the scum frog? I got the impression that the scum frog was a true topwater bait, but the horny toad you went a little deeper with and used a less violent twitch.
