Was back and forth on this. A lot of reviews say there's a lot of malfunctions. Then a lot of reviews saying it just needs its break in period, then it's great. Ultimately, everyone at the gun shop/range I'm a member at said they didn't recommend it. I was sad because it looks awesome

Ya, I've never had a pistol with a compensator on it. Looked like a good concept. I don't know if it's worth the premium over a glock since I can get blue label pricing.

I saw a fn 502, the 22lr model, been wanting a 22 pistol with a threaded barrel as well. So it might win out.

Yeah I read the same. But I’ve had two other Caniks and both shot perfectly so I was willing to try. So far after only a couple hundred rounds it’s been perfect.

I’m still better with my Canik SC Elite since it’s bigger but the MC9 is a great shooter. I had originally bought the Elite to be my EDC but it was too bulky for my taste.

For pocket carry - model 37 smith and Wesson
For IWB - model 10 smith with a 2 inch barrel bobbed hammer and the best trigger job I’ve ever felt

Another vote from me for the Sig P365 w/ thumb safety. It's been my EDC gun for a little over 1 year after my kids got it for me as a Christmas gift. It carries nicely in an "Okami" slide/snap OWB holster w/ smooth ostrich trim from Ronin Leather Holster. Prior to that my EDC was a Kimber Micro 9. When clothing dictates, I carry a Khar CW380 in a Rob Keeton pocket holster w/ black shark leather trim. Sig P365

I suggest you rent the Hellcat before buying. I liked it in the store too but couldn’t shoot it well.

Same for me. I wanted to love it but just couldn’t get it group well. Sold it to my cousin who doesn’t care as long as it went bang.

Love my Sig P365. If you have enormous hands, you'll want to get the larger version, but the P365 fits my hand well and is small and easy to carry.

S&W Shield Plus Competition.

I have a home range and shoot at least once a week. Have Glock 43X, Canik Mete, ad nauseam.

None of these are as accurate as a Shield. Anyone who says so, doesn’t shoot often at all. Period.

Only larger guns are on scale re: accuracy (CZ P10C/Glock 19/Walther PDP)

Springfield Hellcat all day everyday for edc and cc. Try them all for quick draw and fire. Hellcat wins my vote.
HK P30 is my hip pistol if shtf.
But hellcat is my conceal carry hands down.
I respect all glocks, but I'm a lefty and they are very unfriendly to lefties. Yes, even newer gen is shite compared to HK p30 for left hand shooters.
I endorse Hellcat by alot for cc.

I’ve looked at the HK VP9SK and the Sig 365X Macro

I own both of those .... there's a really good sale going on everywhere for the VP9 series right now. I like the series a lot. Catch the right seller, like CDNN or PSA, and get ten (10x) mags with your purchase.

I EDC a P365 X-Macro, ported of course ... and I love it.

Ruger Security 380

It fits me well as I'm slim / athletic so I carry appendix. The trigger is fantastic and it's really accurate. The edges are well rounded so it's a comfortable carry.

No one can shoot as accurate as the pistol itself. Set them all in a vice and they'll all shoot the exact same. So it's the ergonomics, trigger, etc. along with the user that dictate the accuracy. And that preference is going to differ from person to person.

I'd recommend dropping in an apex trigger. Stock trigger on the Hellcat Pro is so tight I can't hit shite with it.

If you want a tale of the worst trigger try a Bodyguard. My brother let me shoot his at the range and that damn thing feels like you are pulling for an eternity and then it fires at some ridiculous point. I told him to throw that thing in the trash can.

CZ P10C and P10S

P10S is a great edc choice. Not as slim as the micros aka the hellcat, p365, etc. but IMO is a much better shooter, I definitely like the trigger better than the sigs.

I have both a P10S and a cz custom 75P01 Compact that I carry. I like the sa/da format but I know a lot don't due to the varying pulls but I can shot mine very well. I did kinda grow up on that platform shooting my fathers Berretta 92s and sig 226-229s before I got my own many years ago.

For those who carry the P365 xl, whats the verdict on the X trigger/

Looking at a 10mm sig with an x trigger.
