We as in who? Rails by Rukus dock were built, rebuilt and modified by only a select number of people.
Not calling you out, just trying to figure out if we know each other.

Intercostal is close but ghetto

boat traffic and shite in the water? or just shitty dirty water? Only Intercoastal I've experienced is in Houma. And that was great when i was in high school.

Based on the slider photo, you knew Valarie.

Also, you wakeskate? Tennis shoes in the photo prove it your buddy does.

Trigga?

We've probably met then. I've got the old blue glastron with a pylon. Always have skated behind it.

Yea ive seen it before. I really quit riding hard, to many injuries. I broke my ankle and kinda gave up the dumb shite. I just surf or just go wake to wake and mess around a little. When i was in college we would ride every single day after class until dark, good times

Edit: and yes i knew her, she was amazing so sad

Put in at Galvezton Landing (Big Johns) and go right. They're in the next bend on the right.

Put in at Fred's, head left and they'll be on your left about four bends down.

They're in front of a double dock that is owned by Ronnie from Rukus.

Boat traffic (big boats) depends on the day. The launch is right next to the locks which can get hairy. Typical industrial water with some strange hotspots by industry. I'd rather go 20 minutes to the lake.

Does anyone know if that canal is skiable? They have a few bridges that a tower would have to fit under too.

Dude, I catch you running faster then 5 mph in that canal, I will put your arse in jail! Tired of assholes going faster then this and washing away my land.

Thanks. I've wondered what that stretch was like.

Is there a LDWF 'no wake' zone posted in that area?

It's very rideable and protected, but I find the Lake much more enjoyable.

With regard to the canals at the north and south ends of the lake, even of they weren't "no wake" they aren't big enough to ride.

my buddies quit that slalom crap bc it's boring as all hell...got him hooked on wakeboarding and he turned around and bought an x45, last summer we used to ride just about everyday down diversion after work, we still do it but not as often
