Anyone heard of anyone doing well at Sherburne this opening weekend? Looking for a change of pace from the rice fields at my lease and will probably be going no matter what sometime the weekend after Thanksgiving. Just curious on what to expect!

I heard you get to hunt with 1000 of your closest friends.

But I also heard some people did pretty well out there. We hunted there a lot last year, will probably spend some time out there this year as well.

If you hunt the lake. There are spots where there is literally no one but yourself, just have to do some scouting

Where in Sherburne is there good duck hunting that is outside of south farm? I don't want to get in anyone's way, but I am curious to maybe go and try to check it out. I also don't want to get in the way of deer hunters, etc... How does this work?

TIA

Bump for any news.

Me and a buddy might head out there in the morning and see what we can do. I've never hunted out there, so I'm not sure what to expect.

That sucks. If you want guaranteed birds go to the wax.

Depends on where you go at sherburne. Outboard should be fine in most of Indian bayou if you are launching under the interstate

Launching at that canal of the north levee road...I think?

I'm going in this blind as a bat. Got my gun, a tank of gas, and some deeks.
