Only reason to have a lease in erwinville is if it's your 2nd lease. I have one in some ponds over there and it's hit or miss at best. I make maybe 6-8 hunts over there a year. Dont go into it with high expectations and read b/t the lines on the owners bs, he is a nice guy, pretty funny to. Late season ducks can pile in and the specks get thick, better be ready to shoot late to get them. I can hunt and be back to the office in 20 min so it's a fix when I can't make the 1 1/2 hr drive to my place in lacassine

Cashiola is a nice guy and a better businessman. He has made a small fortune leasing to naive people. If the lease was so great he could charge double that due to the closeness to BR. I remember 10 yrs ago when he was 2k/blind. The rice is uber thick and it is an unreal roost for mallards and specks for about a 40 mile radius. He will usually allow 1-2 pm hunts a year just to appease you. You would do much better in Delacroix.

Like as mentioned earlier, there's a handful of spots on the other side of the levee along the river that get stacked up with mallards when there's water in the woods. Very hit or miss though

Good Luck

I don't know. Ask Tigerrr. I think he is the one I hunt over there with, but didn't know he started an account. He's got a much better spot out west.
