Don't you selfish bastards realize that your yettis are causing global warming by trapping all the cold air?

No comment on the wisdom of buying a Yeti, but I have seen Spillway Sportsman discount them about 10% at least one time. Not sure if they'll do it again, or if 10% off is enough to matter.

Because I got pissed about running out of ice at my tailgate and when I would reach in for my "walk to the game" beer at 6PM it would be in water, not ice.

The Yeti solved that.

Not to mention, when I would have my "after game" bourbons, I had ice.

I've heard of people going to the Yeti warehouse in Austin and picking up factory seconds for way under retail.

In other news, I just picked up a 45qt Pelican cooler for 40%off retail and so far I give it 2 thumbs up. Quality is top-notch. I see they have the smaller 35qt's for around $170 on amazon if you want a bigger cooler for less $.

I'm totally disappointed in my Yeti. I was warned here but had to be cool and get one. Sucker is heavy and there is no noticeable difference in ice retention.

Go to the nearest major boat launch, wait until most everyone is on the water and wander around looking in truck beds to see who left theirs. Voila, free Yeti, or so I've heard.

I'd like to have one of the smaller ones (probably 45) and put some hydro turf on the top to stand on in my boat or kayak.

made for every model in multiple colors

quote:

The higher you are off the water, the further you can see down into it. This durable, slip-resistant SeaDek®, made from 6mm EVA foam, provides excellent traction and extreme comfort when using your YETI® as a standing or casting platform. SeaDek® attaches permanently with a pressure sensitive adhesive backing. Custom fit for YETI® Tundra models up to 160 quarts. Thickness: 6mm

ETA: haven't put it on yet so i don't know how well it would work. seems like it would though if you were on a boat

Yeah, I don't understand why you need something that will only hold about a 12 pack, cold for a week.
