While riding the tractor, hiking, squirrel hunting, etc: Do you have a handgun on your person?

Some of us had boating accidents, so feel free to answer in the past tense.

Just wondering how prevalent this is in the OB community.

Doesn't do you much good if you leave your sidearm at the house, so yes.

It isn't a habit, but it is going to be for me in 2014.

Yes

Typically if it's anywhere that I would be carrying my wallet then I will have my pistol as well.

If I'm clearing land for hunting or just busy work, yes. If I'm bushhogging or just checking things out , no.

I carry when out and about in the woods or waters. Not around the camp.

Some shady folks down in our little piece of heaven.

I'm the same way. I have a ccp for a reason. I figure it's like a seat belt.. the one time you don't click it, is the one time you smash out.
I carry religiously pretty much everywhere I go.

Do you have CCL?

I carry most of the time. Even in WMA's.

Concealed Carry Permit does not allow one to carry where firearms are otherwise forbidden. WMA regulation is just like a private residence, business, or governmental building posting a sign that says no guns allowed.

If there was a pistol-only season I would.

Otherwise I never do.

Yes, I normally CC while in the outdoors.

Also, you can CC on WMA's in Louisiana.

Carry Allowed in these Areas:
State Parks: YES Per SB 534
State/National Forests: YES Per SB 534
WMA’s: YES Wildlife Management Areas & Wildlife Refuges Per SB 534

ETA: This was before my boating accident, of course.
