How anyone can enjoy Louisiana summers

On the lake drinking cold beer & watching the bikinies
Or in the ac drinking cold beer

I like the cold when it's hunting season. Other than that, I prefer the heat. Beer never tasted better than on the lake when it's 110 degrees.

Lots of stuff I can do when it's boiling simply can't be done when it's freezing. Give me hot over cold even with the discomfort.

I'm not saying it is my favorite weather, but I'd much rather have that than sub-50s, cloudy, and windy

Only time I like it is if I'm snowboarding or hunting, neither of which is often. Other than that I hate it. One of my least favorite moments in life is getting out of the shower on a frigid morning. Our bathroom heater is a POS and we don't sleep with the house heater so it's always cold in the morning.

No, but I'll take it over hot as balls and muggy. 45-80 is good with me. Anything outside of that is uncomfortable to me.

I don't believe you either. My mom hates temps below 60. But can't stand 95 and 90% humididty. And she is the most cold natured person I know.

I like it solely for hunting purposes. When it's time for it to be gone, I'm ready for it to leave.

At least if you get too hot, you've got your pond to dip your toes (and only toes) in.

i think what he's saying is that he'd rather it be very, very hot than be cold enough for a jacket. which is something i am totally on board with. i much prefer fishing in the summer when you don't have to worry about wearing anything but swim trunks and a t-shirt. if it gets too hot, take a dip in the water.

i can tolerate cold weather but i only really like it for duck hunting.

that being said, only this past year did i finally get a jacket that keeps me comfortable riding out the MS river to the gulf in early march. having the right clothing is a game changer.

I'm skinny and have a hard time staying warm when the temps drop. Nothing worse than a cold boat ride in the morning.

It's really just the inconsistency of the weather patterns in south LA that bother me.

I drank a spiced saison last night that would be perfect for drinking on the lake during the summer

I like it to be at 80-90. Nothing colder or hotter.
