DIY concrete box garden panels

Fellow OB'er trentw sent me this youtube about how to make precast concrete panels to make box gardens. Pretty sweet, won't rot.

thats the best way to go but you can also just buy precast blocks like cinder blocks to use and then line with plastic to stop grass from getting in and soil from washing out

You know they sell plastic deck boards? Just use some treated 4"x4" and nail together.

The guy was a little hard to listen to, must be from Canada or something, but that’s pretty cool.

Pavers or cinderblocks would work also

I thought the indent detail was clever. But I'd need to be retired or out of work before I spent the time to do all that.

I watched this video a few days ago and thought it was pretty cool, I bet those things are heavy as all get out, though.

I used water troughs. They were pricey but i like the way they turned out.

It uses 1 bag of concrete ~80lbs, and maybe a gallon of water ~8lbs, not terrible and you shouldn't really be moving them frequently.

I used Trex deck boards for raised garden beds.Expensive but should outlast me,first ones are 10 years old and not a sign of decay.
