Funny you should say that. He has mulitple piles. 80-90.He also got ticket last year for not having his captains license up to date. I'm not defending his actions on this one. I can just see both views. He said some of the same locals are constantly on piles. If I was a local, Id have a few of my own piles to avoid this situation as much as possible.
How do the local OB'ers roll up there?

I'd do the exact same thing as Johnson. Bullara is obviously a guide that works hard to put brush piles out to feed his family, and obviously has to deal with rednecks catching fish off of his hard work. Don't fish a working man's brush pile and don't pull a gun unless you're going to use it.

Bullara is the guide...

Johnson is a guide fishing with his wife? C'mon dude.

This is about as ridiculous as a person posting tidal waters as their own

Is perch jerking the new duck hunting?

This is the largest lake in LA and TX ( I think) and these assclowns are fighting over a brushpile?
Posted on 6/14/17 at 7:47 pm to Janky
That's how the guide makes a living.

I'm sorry but how is someone suppose to know that a brushpile is a guides or anyone else's?
If I'm fishing a lake and I find a place with fish, I'm fishing it. It's public property as soon as it hits the water.
Let me ask you this, if you're running in the gulf and run across a spot that isn't public but lights your screen up with fish, are you saying you won't fish it?
You're lying if you say no.

Really? 185,000 acres and these jack wagons fight over a brushpile? Any guide worth a shite would have passed it up and moved on to another pile.

That's like saying if you're on a ranch and see a guy hunting a feeder you put out, it's no big deal because it's a big ranch and you can hunt a different feeder.
Posted on 6/14/17 at 7:57 pm to RickfromArizona
Except the ranch would likely be private property.
Posted on 6/14/17 at 7:58 pm to RickfromArizona
The ranch isn't public.
Many public lakes are first come first serve for duck blinds no matter who builds them.

I see someone on my brushpile or I see someone in my duckblind, I'm running their arse out. That's all I'm going to say.

Not at all man.
In college I hunted public land before I could afford a lease.
A friend of mine and I scouted this area for a good while and on opening morning he set up where we knew the buck was working a scrape line.
Well, someone else set up just to the better side of him and shot that buck!
Public land. That's the way it is.
It is not a private lease.
If I put a brush pile in Toledo, I know legally I cannot stop anyone from fishing it.

That's the only part why I feel for not only Bullera, but any guide. Some of those locals watch for them building and mark spots. They don't just accidentally find them scanning on the way to their own pile. Build your own.
That's what I want to know of people that frequent the lake, do you have your own? I sure would. I actually have some down here in the bayous....

No its not. A ranch is private land. Its more like you setup a feeder on public land and then get surprised someone else hunts it.
I can respect the guides work to build a pile, however when you put it in a public lake it becomes public. If you want it to be private then buy a lake.
Really, this could of all been avoided if the guide handled it different. Running up one foot away and yelling at a guy and his wife is crazy. If it were me and the guide explained he built the pile and was decent about I would move on.
Posted on 6/14/17 at 8:12 pm to RickfromArizona
No you won't.
I have piles that I have built out there, but if I stumble on another pole I will fish it. Period.

And you will be getting a ticket and fine for disturbing a person lawfully fishing.
