watching the interview now, and Dettelbach just mentioned that in NYC alone, there are 36,000 police officers.
how many total ATF employees are there in the entire country?

I got a few minutes in and I had to stop. That guy is a nerd. This idea that agencies make laws is asinine. They're an enforcement agency, not elected officials.

My sheriff has publicly and privately told me one on one that he will not enforce any new gun law or policy including anything dealing with braces or bump stocks. Of course the FEDs could always try but then I guess we'd all be on the national news that day.

I watched the entire interview. The ATF director is comparing a bump stock to 3D printed Auto Sear. He alluded to the 3D printed auto sear wasn't illegal which of course it is. Many people watching that don't understand gun laws won't get it which is what he wanted.

Director can't field strip a fricking stock Glock.... The most popular handgun in the world and probably something issued to every single one of his field agents.
Yet he also expects every Upper East Side white female to believe most armed crimes in the US are committed with a $25K SAW that requires federal background checks and finger printing and special registration or a $12K Barret 50 Cal. that costs more to shoot than a entire block of inner city real estate is worth.

FN sells semi auto SAW’s for 13K. Every gang banger has one under their hoodie. My buddy bought a used one for $8500. He has an SOT and going to convert to full auto for demo for his local Sheriff.
I get what you’re saying criminals ain’t spending that kinda dough on a gun unless it’s Scarface or Chapo.

That may be true. Nettlebacht wasn't a law enforcement officer, he was a prosecutor. He was also the guy who during the brace testimony, that simply removing the brace from a firearm would be perfectly legal. A week later the ATF website said otherwise.
The guy is everything that is wrong with the ruling elites. They are ignorant, unethical and have a supremacy complex.
