Thats ok for the peeps that are out for a bit of weekend recreation, maybe kill a young doe, spike, etc.
You’ve been on here for the last 2 weeks preaching your knowledge and skill. Real killers don’t need to advertise.

All that October thermocell gas, sweat, bug spray, etc. It's all got to be de-funked for the almost here real hunting.
If you were as good as you say you’d just kill him in October.

I bet he brags about how he climbs up 60 feet in a tree so the deer won’t see him

Do you put your camo on at home then ride in your truck to go hunting?

Fairly sure it’s the same guy who posted on the old Louisiana hunting forum that is gone now. Don’t recall the name. Ex game warden that hunted Tensas with a 44 mag rifle. Nearly ruined that old site all by himself. I’ll give him another chance to do better. Maybe he’s learned since then.

Hunt downwind baw
Yes that is common sense. But until those December artic fronts start rolling in, we in La are subject to changing winds.
Also, there is always an upwind side. Any doe that gets your wind side, could blow, thus the big buck getting suspicious and detouring.

hey’ll still smell you. A deer’s nose dgaf about how you wash your equipment
Yeah the YouTube videos of a police dog finding a person in a box who had washed with scent free and sprayed down with various “scent blockers” pretty much sums up how effective that shite works.

Thats the beauty of it all. We can all choose how far we want to take it. Good luck.

What are your thoughts on testing firearms by shooting into buckets of sand at close range?

I gather up deer shite and just chew it like tobacco. Keeps em from detecting my breath. I make sure to only use pellets from doe fawns early in the year. Switch over to 3.5yo does in estrus around Dec 10. I also have some coon piss scented gun oil and squirrel essence chapstick

Very often in life, those who do not or cannot excel often attempt to knock the achievers back down so as to be equal. This can be seen in the past, where those who cannot move up often accuse the successful hunters of hunting at night, bait, bondo antlers, etc.
When you turn the computer off at night, and are alone, only you know where you truly stand.

Only if it’s at a pawn shop.

I enjoy the one's on La Hunting FB that feel the need to brag they walk for "miles" in the woods in the dark and how they all think they are the only ones who do it. Then they get on the "everyone else is scared of the dark" kick and it's just awkward and cringe to read.

You have to be a troll.

Next to a woman that’s out of my league in a house with a bunch of giant bucks on the wall and in piles in a shed with multiple full freezers? Reckon that’s kinda where I stand. frickin sucks.

It’s sad what the OB has turned into the past few years

Its what they make it. Doesn't have to be. Can be a teach and learn moment, but that " can't let anyone excel, pull back down " " do what the group wants to fit in " here in La, is what keeps us down. Its all what you want it to be
