Can anybody recommend a company to rent a boat/pontoon from in Destin? Or if anyone knows if any private individuals would rent us a boat for a day. We have 12 of us all together; may need 2 rigs. Thanks.

We used true blue pontoon on Okaloosa island several times over the years but it’s been 3 or 4 years since we rented from them.

Luther’s is $450 for 8 hours on a 24 footer; fits 10. That’s what I rent. They have 28 footers that fit more but are $500+ a day.
There’s also Aloha but they are pricier.

Just a heads up but the one we rented last year was $500 after all was said and done.
Take that sucker for a spin. We brought fishing poles and fished under the bridge and then pulled up to the beach right in the pass and fished

Tax and tip $20 to the guys of hat help load and unload your boat and it’s a bit over $500. Go on a weekday because the weekend is packed and not as enjoyable.

Thanks for the advice. Back to my thoughts of renting/borrowing from an individual; anybody got a name and contact?

We rented from Luther's. I have nothing more to add to this thread other than I would casually check the tide and stay vigilant on the weather. We were out there when a storm blew up and it got rough. Luther's texted me and said to return the boat ASAP so I did but the fricking tide was brutal coming under that bridge with the waves. Holy frick, there was a pucker factor.

We use the guys right next to Boshamps. Be careful of the outgoing tide
