I don't know about coyote or bobcat, but cougar is almost always consumed and is very similar to domestic pork from what i hear.

I just totally lost my appetite for the next few days. What is wrong with these people eating cats and dogs?

So because someone a long time ago said this is good and that is bad, you’re unwilling to try different things?

Mylsuhat: That is correct. Certain things I won't try to eat like cats and dogs. You can add monkey brains to that list (my granddad used to eat squirrel brains but not me).

Pigs will eat anything, I would bet a wild pig diet is not that far off from Coyote.

Dont mock it until you try it. We had some in a rice and gravy and it was delicious.

doesnt the Bible say something about eating animals with paws?

Think it says something about eating animals with cloven hooves as well but me and St Peter will sort that out when I get to the gates. I’ll bring some fried backstrap and pork loin as an offering

Well I'm going to mock it, because I'm not trying it and I eat some nasty shite, I just simply refuse to eat a cat.

I used to do a lot of trapping. After skinning a lot of bobcats and yotes here is my personal unsolicited opinion. Bobcats don't smell that bad and have a very light colored flesh. Not quite pork light but its getting there.

Yotes smell like they have already rotted everytime you get near one with a very dark strong smelling flesh that still stinks even after the hide is removed.

Bobcat flesh is one of the best baits for trapping out there, everything seems to want to eat them. Possums hesitate to eat yote.

Once its skinned and the head is removed its like any other animal you eat. Coon, rabbit, squirrel etc. The only thing I wont try is bodily waste or fluids. There isnt an animal on the planet I wouldnt eat if I had to.
