NC wasn't even the one who initiated the idea of a group buy in the first place. I agree the idea of making decent profit on the grills probably crossed chicken's line. Maybe he they can come to an agreement on advertising where both parties win. However it sounds like NC is pretty busy with things that make him real money so he may drop this chinese buying stuff altogether.

Doubtful.
1. He'd need a couple hundred orders at a time to be able to fill an entire container
2. Most of his potential customers from this board just stocked up on all the coolers they'll need...significantly less demand going forward
3. Baws might tell their buddies, but how many of those buddies gonna be willing to place an order and wait 3 months on an ice chest, then go through trouble of coordinating picking their order up and possibly having to take off work or make a long drive to get an ice chest?
This was just a cool thing for NC to do as a one-time deal while there was enough interest from posters here to do a group buy.
I guess I get Chicken's side though too bc I just saw a Yeti ad (after Googling Yeti and RTIC multiple times and visiting their websites to see if an ad would come up on TD).

I guess you take the good with the bad. These coolers, like koozies and many other past items, had the potential to be a beneficial purchase for many OBers. (Myself included)
I think everyone here can agree though, that this board is better off not looking like craigslist with dozens of BS items for sale.
For now, I'll sit back and hope that my cooler arrives and that one day, long after this clears, NC can have his posting privileges again.
