anything you can carry comfortably which you will actually carry. you must be comfortable with it or it'll end up sitting at the house.

I have an old circa 85 Star .45 single stack that is slim enough to carry IWB for the last 25 years.

I have a Ruger LCR .357 with a crossbreed supertuck deluxe IWB. Pawpaw carries a few different ones. Even a kimber eclipse custom .45. Some say that's too big for CC but, the holster makes all the difference IMO. All crossbreeds.

Price range? Caliber? The Shield seems to be the hot thing right now. I love my Nano, fwiw.

What do you run in that can hold up the weight of a pistol?

the lcp? just regular gym shorts with a draw string. I have the little belt clip on the lcp thats like a clip on a knife, just clip it in my waistband and hit the road

.40 walther pps with a crossbreed supertuck horsehide. Extremely easy to carry in all weather. Similar in size to the shield.

That'll work well.

If I had a CCL I'd be packing a revolver of some flavor. Most likely a ruger SP101 or pre-lock smith 686 or no-lock smith 642 when I was dressed very lightly.

There was a PM40 at a local gun shop and it had the laser on it. I usually don't go for lasers, but it was a badass gun. $800, though.
