Was Charlie Strong in the running when fla chose Muschamp or did he turn it down and Muschamp was a second choice. I cant remember back that far. looking at what Strong has done at Louisville, fla as our permanent opponent is at least manageable with Muschamp

I had to dvr most games, but every time is saw Jennings in the game it was a sneak or a zone read out of the pistol. I saw no zone read out of the pistol today

officiating was bad all the way around. both teams got hosed by this crew jr high school games get better officiating

a friend just sent me a text about the brazil situation. His comment was "Brazil and Cecil are going to make a heck of a backfield for the Mean Machine" sounds like a sad situation but I had to laugh

Eugene, Martin, Thompson where have they all gone. its tough to get very much info in the pacific nw, the rant and advocate on line are my only sources

would we be having these threads if Saban was still at Miami and there was another coach at bama having the same success they are now having. I remember the curly/dinardo years. ill take 10-2 or 11-1 every year. consistency in my book is just as important as an occasional mnc until we have a true playoff system and polls and bcs rankings are not a factor. you could have an undefeated team left out this year with no chance to prove their worth on the field

A&M probably ran a man blocking scheme for their return. Lining up like that throws off the count for blocking assignments. example player x blocks R1, player y blocks R2 and so forth. it makes finding R1/R2 difficult
