Lots of nice features, multi material structure. I doubt I would buy one, but seems to be a leap forward.

Are they being built in Germany? Just kidding. It looks like a Ford.

Is this something I need in a truck?

Now every truck will be equally ugly.

Multi-material structure? Like mixing steel, aluminum, magnesium, or composites? That's not new in trucks at all.

I'm sticking with Ram more than likely. I've been pleased with mine.

I like the idea you can open and raise the tailgate from the cab, or with a button push on the tailgate itself. Not sure it's something I would do regularly, but it's a nice addition.

I used to drive a chevy before they got their bail out. Had mine for 14 years with little trouble, but that was before so much tech was added.

Chevy/GM can’t seem to understand that people don’t want trucks that sag low in the front. Especially an off road package. Why should you have to put in a leveling kit after the fact to improve the truck’s stance?

I also like the concept of the storage area over the wheels in the bed. Somewhat wasted space in most applications. Could be useful.

I saw somewhere the diesel will have the turn-itself-off-at-redlights bullshite feature. Fakkkkkk that.

New products from Ford, Ram, BMW, Toyota, Infiniti, Cadillac, etc. all have that feature now. It's mandatory to reduce idle emissions.

On the new Silverado, it can be turned off with a dashboard-mounted switch. I would just leave it off.

I'm really surprised that they went with an inline 6 configuration for their Diesel. That's a big selling point for a lot of people that want Diesel trucks.

My wife's new SUV has it and if it didn't get quiet all of the sudden you almost wouldn't notice it at all.

Obviously it doesn't turn off if it's too cold or too hot or other scenarios I'm sure.

You have to press that button every time you crank the truck.
