Ran out to Cailou island block last night .... wind was picking up with 2 to 3 foot swells .... not a bite was given .... ran in to fish lights around camps and got eaten up by mosquitos

Gotta do that shite on a calm night. Fish can't see the bait in chop at night.

I'm cautiously optimistic this weekend will be decent:
FRIDAY NIGHT
SOUTH WINDS 5 TO 10 KNOTS. SEAS 1 FOOT. PROTECTED
WATERS A LIGHT CHOP.

SATURDAY
SOUTH WINDS 5 TO 10 KNOTS. SEAS 1 FOOT. PROTECTED
WATERS A LIGHT CHOP. CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS.

SATURDAY NIGHT
SOUTH WINDS 5 TO 10 KNOTS. SEAS 1 FOOT.
PROTECTED WATERS A LIGHT CHOP. SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS.

Is the old man going too? Caught 6 yf at Brutus the other night, all Larry Flynt barely legal small. Had several schools busting in open water, but had no takers. Didnt have a lot of surface activity until right before the weather hit, I headed north when the lightning show started. We found a good line a drug a few mahi off of it, but it was broken up the next morning.

Caught 84 nice specks in my boat today. Other 3 boats averaged 60. All fish today were really nice.

Cocodrie. Lol. I'm not really familiar with the area, but we were about 20-30 minutes west.
