I hunt in the marsh and we get mostly passing shots. I'm looking to get a better choke this season. What would you guys recommend for a Browning gold 12 gauge(requires invector or invectore plus cant remember)?

My buddy shoots a 870 with a kick's high flyer extended, full. i was looking through the cabelas magazine and i don't think they sell these. also he has beat his gun up so bad there is no way to use his gun as a reference.

I shoot a BPS with Inv+ and an A500G with Inv, and Imp Cyl works best for me on ducks. I've tried Mod on both, but always wind up going back to IC.

I've heard nothing but great things about patternmaster. Carlson also makes some reasonably priced stuff.

I've only ever used the choke tubes that can with the gun. And always use the I/C

I was wondering the same thing

I used Modified most of the time

ETA: 1st duck I shot last year was a greenwing at shooting time and he came back headless.... must have been closer than I thought

In my old AL390 and now my Xtrema2 i've had good results for all my marsh duck hunting using a Briley Light Mod. For teal season coming up, I shoot my factory beretta IC. Each gun is different, just going to depend on what patterns well in your gun.

Anyone have any experience with Kicks brand chokes? I'm looking to buy a new Full choke for my Vinci this season. TIA

The choke I use for duck hunting says "Imp. Cyl. Lead/ Mod. Steel"

For squirrels I chance from Full Lead to Mod. Lead/ Full Steel depending on the woods I am hunting.
