They really are very comfortable and allow you to do a lot more than you would be able to do in a flip flop. I never liked crocs. When they got wet, I slid around inside of them. I used to wear Chaco's, but now the only time I'm wearing sandals is when I'm going somewhere that I'm taking off my shoes (pool, boat, beach, etc.), so I just have my cheap flip flops. Not buying another pair of $100+ sandals any time soon.

They are fine.
I looked them up and realized I used to wear something similar called Teva; haven't worn that type of sandal since I found Keens. I like the toe protection.
Crocs are better though because they are the most comfortable shoe known to man.
