Do you get decent service while in the woods ?

I carry mine in case something happens, to text other members about deer seen , lunch etc. (N Louisiana)

I have an IPhone and Sprint, it's terrible. Can't text, can't get on line, no weather etc etc

Wondering if it's Sprint or something I can set on my phone. I have a data plan for roaming

Re: improving signal. The only thing you can do is get a Wilson booster. You'll have to bring a 12v battery to rig it up I think. I did some research but it didn't seem worth it.

In my experience (Texas) both AT&T and Verizon destroy every other carrier in amount of coverage, even a bigger one like sprint.

Also, as mentioned above you can buy a cell signal booster to help out if none of the carriers are very good at your location.

Had ATT for years. No service at new lease, so I switched to Verizon because of service.

ATT works good for me for both voice and data in areas where I couldnt catch any signal when I had Sprint. Switched about a year and a half ago

Sprint is pretty terrible here in north Ms. It was pretty bad when I had it and went to Delhi, Madison parish area too.
Verizon is way better in my experience.

CSpire is the only carrier that works in our area and a lot of rural MS. My favorite stand also just so happens to get a good signal and has a very comfortable lock on.

Sprint worked fine for me in Dallas, but not in Ruston. I moved back over here in 2011 and it didn't take long to figure out Sprint sucked here. It was fine if you're in a town along I-20, but you can't get too far off of the 20 corridor.I'm from Farmerville. Sprint covers to Lake D'Arbonne, but not beyond it. I could talk on my phone in Spring Hill, but couldn't get email or the internet.

I switched to Verizon and haven't had those problems.

Getting some signal right now. It’ll go out at times.
