They go to hell quick... I got fed up with mine and switched to a Tactacam Reveal. Pretty much same price point, but superior in every aspect

For that price get the Tactacam reveal SK, better in every possible way. Until you get into the really pricey stuff like spartan, Tactacam has the best in the game right now, and I’ve used prettymuch all of them. You probably bout to hear about how a wise eye will suck your dick though

I've been through a few of them. Always replaced under warranty, but still a pain in the arse to troubleshoot via live chat with them before they replace it.
I have since gone to Moultrie and had zero problems. That was before the Deltas came out and I've heard they have their fair share of problems now.
ETA: whatever camera you go with, I would highly suggest getting a solar panel with built in batteries. It's really a game changer to never have to go change batteries. I generally put mine very high so a thief would need a ladder to steal them. It makes changing batteries a PITA.

I run 5 spypoint micro year round. Over 3 seasons or more. Just need to update the Firmware over the phone every 6 months and fresh lithiums and you’re good to go.

Bought a handful in Lafayette drove all the way to Oklahoma and go to set them up and couldn’t get any to work.

So what do y’all recommend? I’m about to pull the trigger on a few. Wise eye seems legit? We have shitty service and will have to be Verizon.

Save your money. I have 2 that are pretty consistent paperweights .
Not sure what I’ll buy for this season but it won’t be a SPYPOINT.

It’s crazy I haven’t had the same experiences as y’all have with spypoint. I also bought a tactacam reveal x last year when they came in stock. I see no difference in quality or function between those and the SPYPOINT micros.

Low price point- Tactacam
High price point- RidgeTec
I do have to say i like spypoint’s data package , i hate tactacam’s. Tactacam you can only set 1 plan, so if you get one unlimited they all have to be unlimited. Spypoint you can have 100 free photos or pick 500,1000 or unlimited. RidgeTec, and Spartan you buy data and can share between all your cameras. This actually can be cheaper in the long run if you run many cameras.
Spypoint sucks, but if you are decent with technology then they can work. It’s just a hassle to have to reformat cards, do firmware updates when shite goes wrong. 2 seasons ago i was having to do it every month while Spypoint was figuring out the bugs. So far it’s been good this year .

I am very biased as I am a ambassador for WiseEye smart cams, but I can honestly tell you to stay away from that brand you mentioned.

Haven’t seen anyone mention the Bushnell Cellucore 20. Have 2 and love them. Battery life is outstanding.
Eta I am not an “ambassador” for Bushnell

With your cameras on, you call them and tell them to do a firmware update over the phone. Or ask them through chat on their site. Takes less than 5 mins. The next time your camera sends a pic, it will update the firmware.

We have a couple dozen of the Spypoint cameras. Love them. Have them at the lease, at home watching house, out at the barn, in town at our business. Some of the best customer service I've found. Love the chat service when in the field to trouble shoot. And they are very quick to send a free replacement if something is wrong.

Do yourself a favor and spend the money you had earmarked for a spypoint on beer or your vice of choice. HORRIBLE.
I have a couple of moultries that are generally consistent.
