on site at Kennedy Space Center. I'm not a huge trout fishing guy but this is the biggest I've ever seen and was a lot of fun on light tackle. Caught a couple nice reds as well.

Didn't have a scale unfortunately. I was thinking a tad heavier because it was so damn long but you may be a better judge than I. It was close to 30"

I've fished inshore my entire life and never caught anything over 4. That's impressive my friend.

There are bigger trout on the East side in my personal opinion. You got to get to Point A La Hache, Delacroix, Breton Sound.

my biggest trout in the 4 lb range. honestly, dont care too much about trout. i see em as a trash fish. if i'm fishing inshore, i only want flounder. like the fight of redfish though.

I have caught all my big trout in Venice so far, never been successful with big ones in other places. I have a camp in Delacroix now.

Most of the big trout I cought were on the east side of venice in Breton sound and a few out by sandy point on the west.

For sure, we were talking about Battledore Reef a day or two ago and catching 5+ lbs trout out there.

Any time I've gone right out of Venice on the West side it seems to be wham bam thank you ma'am 12.5 inch schoolies and you are done quickly. On days we caught big trout in Breton Sound, we may only catch 8 or 10, but we'd have 30 lbs. of trout.
