I was wanting one badly until I started seeing people on various forums posting about different problems. I'm gonna wait & let them work the kinks out. I learned my lesson being at the front of the line to get the Sig P322. Luckily my Sig is good but tons of folks Sigs have barrels that lead badly.

Just yesterday a friend of mine told me he got one. I had never heard of till then. He said it would out shoot his Glock all day long.

Interesting. Ive seen a lot of folks talking about canik’s and I want a better capacity than what I have for my sub compact I currently have. Are canik triggers any good?

Let me say that the Canik Rival is the best striker fired trigger on the market in my opinion. I would put it up against any other manufacturers stock trigger

I bought a canik TP9 to have at least one 9mm. Very soft even pull on the trigger. The TP9 was 300 bucks. Just thought it would be a good first 9mm even though I'm not a fan of the round. Ran 225 rounds through it and only one hung up ejection. Very accurate and seems a good cheap shooter. Two thumbs up so far.

edit for the post above me.

Exactly why I chose it. I'm not as good with pistols as I am rifles and skeet mainly due to the trigger pull. All I kept hearding about the Canik was its premium grade trigger and how it stood up to more expensive 9mm's. They were not lying. Smooth and soft as butter

I havent heard much negativity about them. Ive been team glock forever and wont quit that as my edc but this mc9 can fill a gap that I have

Probably going to go shoot it and then just buy it unless theres something completely off with it

I have a buddy who owns a gun shop and owns this specific Canik. He said it's a great choice.

I love Canik as a whole. I bought a TP9SF 9mm and love to shoot it.

Ordered one today.... Already have a few other caniks, and they have become my favorite pistols.

OB strikes again.

I’ve owned two Caniks and both were great overall. Triggers are smooth.

I bought the SC ELITE to be a carry gun but it was a little too chunky for that, IMO. So I made it a home defense pistol and got a Hellcat for CC.

I have my sights set on the new steel Rival. It looks great.

I like the size and feel of my TP9SF. I've put it through more than 2500 dry fires, trigger is still smooth (I keep it lubed). Definitely interested in a lower profile to conceal when necessary, but I love to just carry open around the WMAs and family land. I go to too many schools to have it with me all the time.

Went and got one today. Comes with IWB holster, 15 rd and 12 rd mag. Has some additional rear grip plates, tools etc. Trigger feels smoother than my glock and has a considerable thinner feel than my G23/19 when concealed on IWB. Optic ready but I may change the sights as I dont like blank rear posts

Looking good! Your package deal looks just like the package deal that came w/ my Canik TP9 Elite SC. Let us know how it shoots. Is the grip more like a traditional "double stack" or a "stack and 1/2" like the Sig P365???

I bought a Canik Rival and it's been pretty nails out of the box. Came with a red dot and all the fixins. Didn't take long to sight in and isn't uncomfortable to carry.
