Can you guess this pontoon boat length by this crappy picture?

Yes it's a shitty image. What's your guess on the length of this pontoon boat from this picture? Looks like a short one to me, 16-18ft? And it looks like the steering wheel is way up front. I'm no boat expert but most of the pontoons I've been on had the captain's seat either towards the middle or towards the back. Bonus points if you can get the make/model

20 ft. console looks in proper place. doe sit have an engine or not?

I think it's shorter (18') without a motor, but I don't really know. It does look to me like the console is pretty far forward, but often times on the shorter pontoons that's the case.

I say 18-20'. Where is the boat located? That might help narrow down a make and model.

The boat does have an engine. A small outboard. The motor was left down, I think the grey lump you an barely see behind the boat is the outboard. It was at a lake house we looked at but I didn't pay much attention to it when looking at the house. We wrote it in on the offer and the offer was accepted. Now I'm curious what the heck we're getting Guess I'll find out in the next couple of weeks.

Take some better crappy pictures when you close.
And congrats on the new lake house.

I'd say it's an 16ft. Looks to have a 40-50hps motor on it.
I'd also say the controls are that far forward to help balance the boat out from the engine and gas tank.

Looks like an 18 footer to me

It's either 21' and has an old Peterbuilt steering wheel in it, or it's about 16' long.

The posts are close to 10 ft apart. So it is 20-21 with the motor.

And the answer is....
Monark Sunlite 180. 18 footer. Has a 40hp Force/Mercury 2 stroke. Last registered in 2013 so it's obviously been sitting quite a while. Looks like I'm going to have a lot of work on my hands :D

Good news, it was under a boat shed and partially covered from sun damage..Looks like the seats and console are in pretty good shape... Pressure washer and bleach is your friend....
I'm sure those pontoons and that lower unit looks just as pretty...
