Specifically in the Winnsboro and Delhi areas. We didn't plant for them but the corn just got harvested last weekend and we're going to see if we can shoot a few Saturday. Soy beans haven't been harvested yet

Not sure about your field specifically but there are some birds around. Whether they hang around after this massive cold front that blows thru tonite remains to be seen..

Field I'm hunting in winnsboro was loaded last week. Two days ago, not a bird on the place.

Heard today though the power line was back full. Maybe they are bouncing around.

But like balls said, who knows what will happen after this mini front and the shooting starts

I have a small field in ST. Helena and had about 100 birds yesterday at around 5:30. Have about 5 acres of millet and sunflowers planted. Shooting next Saturday hopefully.

Hoping there will be some birds flying with this cold front moving through. Will find out shortly as I'm about to head out for the field.

"Man, we were loaded last weekend. What happened to 'em?" Like clockwork.

where are you hunting in Winnsboro? We're going to be just South of town and will be up there tomorrow afternoon. I'll let you know what I see when we get up there.

Family land is north of winnsboro but south of Delhi. The one we will be hunting backs up to the huge wooded area, on the side of turkey creek.

Good deal Redfish. I'll let you know what I see. We are south of town, next to woods and turkey creek haha. We hunted up that way last season and were a day late getting on some doves. But we hunted closer to tensas just south of Waverly. Not sure if we'll be going back there again or not.

Yeah let me know. I'm not expecting things to be as good as they were on my Texas trip last year

Bird numbers off of hwy 65 are much lower than what I have been seeing the last couple months.

Had about 30 doves on my power line this evening over a 2 acres little plot.

More than I have seen there all summer.

Noticed the further north towards newellton, the more birds.

Local here said all the rain last week and week before moved the birds out

We didn't get here early like we planned. I bought a Marlin 17 on clearance and took a while haha. Unfortunately the report from my gf's dad was bad. He didn't see much around here and heard the same from some other landowners in the area. Still gonna get out there in the a.m. and give em hell if they are in the area. Who knows maybe they may be bouncing around. We've got a big lake on the property so have a water source and feed. Just need some doves now
