Would you go Chevy/GMC or Ford?

Of those two, Ford. I'm pretty much all Toyota, now, though.

My wife initially settled on the Honda Pilot. Then she talked with three of her co-workers who own Pilots, and all 3 have had engine problems on Pilots that are only 1-2 years old. That turned her away from the Pilots.

My wife has an '18 pilot. No complaints. The VW Atlas is really nice but I have no experience with how VW cars hold up.

Mrs AYC next vehicle will be a Palisades. We have 8 years on previous Hyundai product and will be going back again. You cant beat the upgradable warranty.

We have the new Atlas and about 20k miles in we love it. Left a Pilot Touring. The Pilot is a very reliable car but I hated the way it drove. So far the Atlas has been phenomenal and we are really please. It has tons of space for the kids.

I have a Forester for a company car and it’s tiny. It handles well but drives like a weed eater engine. If you have more than 2 people in the family I wouldn’t get one. If your considering Subaru look Outback or Ascent. I’m just not crazy about the look of those 2 though.

We bought an Atlas last year and have had zero complaints. I’m 6’2” and can fit in the third row. Now I wouldn’t wanna be back there for a road trip only because the seat doesn’t recline any but I fit with no issues.
With two car seats in the middle row, it’s nice having the extra seating when we need it.
