Just looked at that nice price. The reviews had a bunch of unhappy shooters saying it has cycling issues. Any personal experience?
I have the 20 gauge. I've put about 8-10 cases through it so far, minimal issues. No more than any of my other $1k+ guns.

I have an older A300 Outlander that I’ve replaced both the bolt handle and bolt release button to oversized versions. It really made a difference in the ergonomics of that gun and it’s far and away my favorite all purpose shotgun.
I also have a SuperX2 that’s been pretty good. I think Winchester changed the fit on the later models so they don’t fit me as well as the SX2, but most people seem happy with the newer models. The knock on that gun is it’s a 3/12” model so it doesn’t cycle light loads very well and it’s heavy as hell compared to my other shotguns. I strictly use it for waterfowl.
The A300 Ultima is the newer version of the Outlander with the oversized controls already installed. The trigger group on the early Ultimas had some problems, but Beretta has corrected that problem from what I understand.
I’d look hard at the A300 Ultima or a Super X4.
For the record I’m just starting to look at a new 20 gauge and am considering an A300 Ultima or a Super X4. I’ll probably go with the Beretta because I’ve heard the adjustment shims come with the A300.

I will let you know when it arrives if it comes with that but in the question and answers it says it does not. It supposedly has one shim installed.

I picked mine up Monday and it has a shim installed but no others came w/ it. Comes w/ a couple plastic spacers to adjust lop. BPS said 29 of them arrived from online orders. I think they are out of the sale guns.
