I mean it makes sense, my gut was to set it up to where everything could trip the circuit breaker at once and not melt the buss bar. I’m not sure what event would cause that, maybe just normal operating loads plus your largest circuit breaker plus a little slop would be a better. I also wonder if there’s slop built into the gauge charts and buss bar ratings.
Edit: my comment about slip in the ratings is because I’ve seen some laughably small electrical components in some pretty big boats that were functioning without a fire….yet.

All done! Windshield enclosure goes on tomorrow, and dropping it in the lake next Saturday. Feels good to be done finally.

That was it lol. I wasn’t driving it, but that’s our boat.

Awesome. She certainly stood out on CLearview in all that traffic.
Really looks good, good luck on the new boat too.

She runs like a sports car. May play with props a little bit but seeing 1.4mpg at 3800rpm and 42mph which is pretty good. Top speed was 64mph. Made it from Fred’s on the Amite to west end in New Orleans in no time

42 mph @ 3800 rpm and 1.5 mpg and you want to mess with props???? Don't touch em baw.

Send them props to Baggy down in Houma. He’ll have you running right.

I mean it has the right sweet spot, just can’t spin them over 5400. We’ll probably wait and see how it runs loaded down.

Ahhhh yea need to play with that. An overwheeled boat is wayyyyyhh worse than underwheeled

Think I saw your boat this evening on Airline Hwy. in Prairieville headed towards BR. I was hollering at my wife “that’s CP3’s boat”. She obviously had no idea what I was talking about.

That was it probably lol. Just got it back to the shop a few minutes ago. Went ahead and got my first “miss the trailer with 100 people watching” out the way at Fred’s
in my defense we need to adjust the trailer bunks some though. Wasn’t terrible.
