holy crap. looking at the wiring makes me happy.
Thanks lol. Yeah after like 20 hours straight of pulling, zip tie-ing, cutting zip tie out and re running, I finally got to step back and look at it all. Was pretty happy with it. Like I said still got some wiring runs to go back and terminate/tidy up in there, but it should look pretty clean when it’s all said and done.
We are going to add a removable wall that blocks off all the wiring in the console, but I’m thinking of having a acrylic access hatch/window so you can see some of it

Maybe even etch the acrylic with my logo and backlight it

you should. I'm always impressed with folks who can make wiring look that good. I wired up running lights on a jon boat and it was a damn mess. Couldn't imagine what it'd turn out looking like if I tried something like what you're doing.

Looks great right now. I'm most impressed that you ran a light in there to help you see when working. My old arse eyes need all the help they can get.

Thanks. Yeah the light definitely helped out after working in the dark for a few hours lol.
Got all the speakers connected and amps tuned last night. 2000W amp powering (2) 8” bow speakers and (2) 7.7” rear speakers. 1400W amp powering (4) 6.5” cockpit speakers.
It sounds awesome
Contemplating adding a 10” sub just because previous owner has a hole already cut for one. If not, just going to get fiberglass guy to patch hole instead. I do have a spare 250W channel available on one of the amps though, so it wouldn’t take much to add it.
Planning to tackle the NMEA network stuff tonight and get garmins, radar, autopilot etc powered up.

Console wiring is finished minus VHFs. Been on backorder since august, but should be here in a few weeks. Wanted AIS for river traffic and shrimp boats, so needed particular model. Got upholstery in as well. Only major thing left is to hang motors/rig up steering and autopilot, which we can hopefully knock out next weekend. Other then that it’s just down to putting in the 22 Gemlux rod holders, deck latches and the bow rail. And a nice detail
. We let the non skid get wayyy to dirty while we were working on it.
Oh yeah and this Nitetrack night vision camera is pretty cool too

Negative. It has new non skid, just need to clean it up. Biggest regret is not tarping deck off while working on it. It got filthy lol.
In my experience sea dek stains too easy

What range do you get with the FLIR?
Posted on 2/13/22 at 9:09 pm to Junky
It’s not flir, it’s NiteTrack which is more of a HD night vision than a thermal camera. Reading up on it, some people like it better than FLIR. I think they each have their own pros and cons. Range is to be determined though. I could easily see 100yds or so across the street in pitch black darkness when I first powered it up. It came with boat though, so more of an added bonus. We typically leave at night/before sunrise, so it will definitely get some use.

Yeah buddy. Should still get somewhat decent economy too. And by decent I mean 1.2mpg
It’s really a 35 ft hull though. 33T essentially is same hull as the current 35ST, minus the steps
