Lack of blood doesn’t mean you missed. The last few deer I shot ran and left no blood trail.

Wear a extra pair of them. I wish I had my wool socks on right now

Thanks for the good thoughts.

Gonna have to get a dog on this one if we don’t find him initially. He likely is my biggest ever.

Now to find a dog

I’m wishing I would have doubled up on my socks this morning.

No movement up here in Washington parish.

Doubled up on socks, jeans, and long sleeves and two jackets. I left all of my "warmer clothes". I think I was prepared anyways.

I usually jog in shorts but cover my ears, hands, and toes...

It's oddly quiet around my place in WP too.

My bad luck continues. Me and my bro flipped for a certain stand. He got it. He shot a buck at daylight and has seen 16 since.

I’ve seen 4 turkeys...

Better than 3. I've seen 3 squirrels and 48 crows...

Hoping your lack of posting is a good sign!

As far as socks go, I find that 2 pair makes my boots too tight and I swear, making me colder. I like 1 pair of good wool socks and plenty of room to move my feet in my boots.

Well I found a blood dog headed my way this afternoon. After talking to a couple of guys and with the lack of blood and how thick it is in there it was best to back out. I don’t think I got an exit with the yardage and how he was standing. I do know exactly where he was when shot.

Wish me luck OB!!

Mom killed her first buck a 3 point. Saw it at 60 yards slipping through o. The side I was on Couldn't get it in the scope. Wanted me to shoot it and I said hell no. Propped the gun up on my knee and the deer got 15 yards from us she finally could see it Was looking right at us and she put it right center of the chest. Was awesome

She stayed behind while I went to get the game cart in case a doe came out. Had another buck walk past her 50 yards

Just got done pulling it out the woods
