Northern SpaceX

Saw beaucoup squealers last weekend teal hunting. Water dropped so much I couldn’t get even close to my spot in the Gator Tail. Dad and his crew made it through in the petite mud boat but haven’t seen many. Shocked, thought it was going to be a roost shoot

They are all gone around Welsh. Had a few in the fish pond. Couldn’t fit another one in there before teal season.

Which is dumb why the state put this season where they did. It should have been included in teal season.

BBWD will nest well into September so that was not an option

LDWF worked real hard to get this season passed. It’s an experimental season. So everyone who participated in it is supposed to give feedback on any changes that could be looked at

You talking about black-bellied whistling ducks?

Two hunters and this many kills?

His son is a guide, IIRC.

I am sure it was 6 hunters Saturday and 8 on Sunday.

All good. The only report I have seen of any success.
They were gone from my lease SE of LC.
I scouted Friday morning and told my brother to sleep in.
Absolutely gone from hundreds before teal season.

We were at the zoo in NOLA this past weekend and I feel like half the exhibits were just whistling ducks they're everywhere
