What’s it doing? Just replace it for $50 and be done with it

You have the entire internet at your fingertips and you can't figure out how to fix your bilge pump. You are the reason that people complain about the costs of boat ownership.

Describe your issues and I bet we can help you.

Take it to a shop and you will pay $100 for them to tell you a common sense fix you can probably YouTube . You will then be upset with them so save everybody and do a little research

It’s one part and some clamps. My old lady would of already had it swapped out and my battery on the charger.

Don’t listen to these assholes. I can talk you through replacing it but you’re gonna need an acetylene torch, some treated 2x4s, and some JB weld.

If you want, bring it by our shop this morning and we can take a look at it for you. Probably just corroded connection(s) but could be a switch or wiring issue.

We are off Highland Rd near Blue Bayou. I’ll be there around 5am, but come any time. Ask for Casey.

Whats the issue? if its not coming on at all make sure it has power. usually the float for auto bilge quits working and you just replace the pump. Sometimes if it is trying ot come on and then either not pumping or kicking off, it can be clogged at the bottom and all you need to do it snap it out of the mount, clean the debris out and you are good to go.

Cleaned the debris out and checked the fuse. Has power, just not working. Sending son to Academy to get a new pump and replace.

There you go, $40 fix at the most from home. $200 plus at a shop or dealership.

Go down in a boat and you'll upgrade. I promise.

If you seriously took a wave in a smaller boat a 600 gph pump won't be much help.

Eta....my 2000 gph pump cost 110. Not much for a bit more security.

You should not be relying on a single electric bilge pump in an emergency situation, no matter what it's rated for. If taking on water is that much of a concern there are better ways to be prepared.
