I fish in my Merrell Trail Gloves. Very comfortable and the vibram sole does not slip at all.

Just went to the academy on Seigen, they had them, but I really didn't like them enough for $85. They also had another columbia pair for $95. Only difference other than styling was instead of regular laces they had an elastic drawstring, so more of a slip on type. Columbia Powerdrain

I got some croc flip flops last time we went to the beach. I've always hated flip flops but I didn't bring anything else so had to buy what was available. And I love them. Most comfortable thing ever.
I won't wear them outside of the yard or beach though. Maybe fishing. But rather closed toe for that.
