Recently knocked down these oak trees and need gone ASAP! Figured I would give the OB first crack, also would posting on Marketplace be a good decision?

Drill a bunch of holes in them. Put motor oil in the holes. Wait a couple of weeks and set them on fire. Or, do what I did and pay a couple thousand dollars to get trees removed. It isn't cheap.

Advertise free firewood if you chop it up.

If it's oak someone will come get it

I would if I were closer

Do you have a recommendation for stump removal? I have about three that need to be removed. Really too small (10-12” diameter) to rent a grinder if there is a do it yourself method.

Do the drill holes, add oil, burn in a few days/weeks method mentioned above.

Do people plane oak and make furniture or mantles with it? Those look pretty straight. Might search Google or Craigslist to see if someone near you deals in reclaimed wood.

If you still don't have a good option, I can bring my chainsaw next weekend.

Depending on the number of chords it makes, you may just have to stack it and sell it next year.
Most places in BR get $150 / face cord.

Depends how much of a hurry you are in. Stump grinder is really quick. But, most hardware stores sell a product called something like “stump rot”, drill a few holes with drill, fill the holes with the chemical, by next year the stump will deteriorate such that it is almost made of paper, cheap, but not quick.
