Woodville
Box stand high and dry
Rainy and foggy, fog clearing up some
Waiting on a big boy to come sniff around my regular does…
Yes, most HAVE to pay (and pay) for a non-resident license. What you do NOT have to do is buy ANYTHING else in the great state of Mississippi! Unless it is an absolute necessity, the only thing that works is the power of the dollar. Mississippi wants dollars, great that is their right, but give the least allowed by law. It’s the little things done by many that can implement change, and even if no change happens, do what you can do.
Those bumper guards are call “Dagmars”… after the actress.
Woodville here also…
Setting in box looking down powerline. Four does munching corn, I’m hoping a good buck will come sniffing around. Thank god for hand warmers !
Shipping containers stacked three high? Ground under it must have been 1.8 million…
Like a really big electric golf cart! When they race electric cars on Pikes Peak they add external sound so no one gets run over…
I wonder how expensive it is to replace/grease that R1 “wheel bearings”? No idea on electric drive train…My experience with boat trailers even with constant grease maintenance has not been great!

Industrial electric motors are designed to output their rated 1000 hp 24/7 basically forever! Tesla’s motor does make 1000 hp, but just for a brief few seconds of acceleration, huge design difference…
The problem is “scope creep” with an old vehicle, getting it running better can be a full restoration. Paying a regular “mechanic” to get an old vehicle “reliable” can be a challenge, a costly challenge.
Best bet is an auto restoration shop, not a regular repair shop. Tell them exactly what how often you want to use it and how you want to use it (daily driver, weekend warrior etc). Is it a show/investment truck to keep exactly factory stock or you ok with newer modifications to make it more reliable?
My 1969 Mustang was not reliable, but looked great and was 100% factory stock, finally said “uncle” added a few mods (electronic ignition etc), now it looks almost stock, but runs great.
I do my own work, so no recommendations, but they are a couple shops around Baton Rouge.
And these people vote…kinda explains the politicians we have!

Love how the robber is skipping as he approaches the truck…
Will double check both of my Thermocell’s before heading to Mississippi…
I have four of them, my oldest one is about 4 seasons old. They run all year on solar cell and a 6v feeder battery…no issues so far. Great not having to pull cards
On the am national news this am they are saying Zoos have vaccinated great apes yesterday, so on a pure priority system if you are waiting for a shot, you are less than an ape in priority... just saying!
Insert any bigger city’s name in place of “New Orleans” and your statement will generally be correct.

Years ago bow hunting, in the dark I climbed up an Oak tree using my climbing stand and got prepared for daylight. As the sun came up I was looking down and around looking for sign, essentially looking everywhere except in front of me. Finally after probably 30 minutes I looked straight in front of me and saw the huge hornets nest ~6 feet away at eye level in the tree next to me. I slowly lowered my bow, turned the stand such that the tree was between me and the nest, slowly lower myself down and got the hell out of there. Can’t imagine how bad it would have been to be in a climbing stand & safety harness tied to a tree 20+ feet up being attacked by hornets...the lord protects fools.
Hard to imagine a “person” needs to work that hard to draw attention to their self...imagine the thoughts going on behind those glasses...
Depends how much of a hurry you are in. Stump grinder is really quick. But, most hardware stores sell a product called something like “stump rot”, drill a few holes with drill, fill the holes with the chemical, by next year the stump will deteriorate such that it is almost made of paper, cheap, but not quick.
