I'll answer this as if it was posted on the outdoor board.
Right now is a hard time to find deer in some areas. Does have been harassed by every swinging dick buck for a month almost. They get spooky and hunker down for a while post-rut. Lack of deer hunting hasn't hurt you. If you take 1,400 acres anywhere in the lower 48 it will hold deer unless it's totally barren.
TLDR: Deer are there. Supplemental feeding and food plots do not alter the carrying capacity of a piece of property substantially. It just makes it easier for the weekend warriors to see deer while they play on their iphones and sit in heated blinds.

Should I look into planting my big fields with something other than Rye?

you walked 1400 acres multiple times in one weekend? Are you Lewis or Clark?

Deer love free handouts. Plaster your 1400 acres with Biden/Harris signs. That will get the deer back.

Keep promising to feed them corn every day, and they will be hooked, and will never leave.

Any statues on your property? They might need to come down.

Stop feeding it Chinese food

Somebody was hunting it while it was tied up in courts. Controlled burns and planting clover will help.

Turn a few hogs loose problem solved...

If you have 1400 acres of land in Mississippi with no deer on it, I will gladly lease it from you.

What tenfo said is true,,, can’t hardly find a deer on a bet on our lease right now.
How many acres can u are will you plant?
Depending on your soil or size of your clearing you should look into either soybeans or a mix of wheat/oats/clovers.
Rye grass low in protein and fat for deer and one of the last things you should plant.

Levee, let me turkey hunt your property this season and I will give you a complete deer numbers survey on 5/1

You have deer, no doubt.
You have to spend time there to see them.
My recommendation is to set up 5-6 cameras on trails or feed trees, or throw out a bag of corn, to at least build your confidence up.
