I have about 2000+ feet of fenceline that I need to poison. what kind of poison should I use to kill everything(grass included) and not rot the fence?

I use a mixture of roundup and atrazine. Works well. 24D will work good too.

Are your fence posts metal, does you wire go to the ground?

I have both wood and metal, and the wire is about 1-2 inches off the ground.

it will be nearly impossible to spray without getting it all over the wire and this fence cost way too much to frick it up.

I use this stuff called razor pro herbicide that I got from my local co-op. Been using it for years and it works really well. Hasn't hurt anything yet

Dang, what're you trying to keep in snakes?
Yeah though, if it might rot the metal forget about it with that much fenceline.

I use a combo of 2-4D and 41%glyophosphate (roundup). Buy each bulk from the local feed store/co-op and mix with water. I have too much fence to try and figure out the length and it works well.
