We have really nice bucks down here but they're deep in the swamp and hard as hell to get them. Just look at the one killed in St. Mary this season.

We have some really nice ones on camera but they rarely get killed because of the terrain.

Plus: out women are hotter than your women

Rapides is good IMHO b/c of the fact that it's in such close proximity to EVERYTHING. Deer, if you can't find what you want here, drive an hr to tensas/Concordia. 45 min to Winn parish and kill hill deer 2 at a time. Fresh water fish? Any of 5-6 local lakes or you can drive 1 hr to toledo. Salt water? Big lake in an hr and a half. Ducks? Catahoula lake doesn't get much better.

I don't really have a favorite but I'd probably have to say Plaquemines.

Turkeys are overrated. You want a turkey, go to Wal Mart.

Coastal parishes are the shite. You might not get a world class buck, but who cares. I want meat in my freezer and I would take a doe over a buck for that. You want mallards? Screw that. I'll take teal over mallards.
