I'd probably think in Louisiana it's much more often than someone running 100 yards and shooting offhand at a moving deer

I'm not even sure what we're talking about any more...

Stating facts moron. You know how many deer are lost because of bows and arrows? How many kids shooting their first deer wound some? Hell grown men woud deer everey year. Its an animal. If you want be ethical about the situation, dont go hunting at all because there is nothing ethical about shooting an animal for sport. You dont need the meat since it costs over $50 a lb and the grocery store sells as much as you want so again. frick YOU!!!

300 yards with any deer rifle is easy. shite, I could hit steel with my red dot at that distance with my AR.

Damn, I thought Chris Kyle was dead.

You are so full of shite btw. Making 300 yard shots in the vitals consistently is not something most hunters practice so it's not easy.

A 270win shooting 130gr bullets, sighted in at 2.5" high will have a max point blank range of about 311yds. You just point at the vitals, shoot and it should be a dead deer.

the vitals are a 10" circle. Anybody that can shoot a deer at 100yds is capable of hitting it at 300.

Yeah, on a range. Most hunters shooting out of a stand or box blind with poor support would miss a 300 yard shot more times than they hit. The only hunters that could do this are the ones that really practice shooting at that distance and sadly, most hunters don't fire the rifle much more than making sure the scope is still sighted in right before opening day.

Which is why I suggest practicing it lol. I'm not full of shite. 300 yards isn't hard.
