Does anyone have experience with these rifles? Was thinking about picking one up in 6.5 Creedmoor, mainly for target shooting.

I have one and like it. I haven’t stretched it out yet, only shooting at 100 now.

That will be my next rifle. I've never shot one yet, but internet reviews are mostly very favorable. Seems like it is a great value rifle for the price. Let us know if you get one and how it shoots

That’s kind of where I’m at as well. Have read good reviews on it but don’t know anyone that has one. I think for the money it would be a great rifle.

I’ve been eying them for quite awhile but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I want one in 300 win mag but haven’t found one to put my hands on yet to see how it feels. I’ve held a couple in 6.5 creed and they felt good but worried the 300 may be too heavy.

Met a guy at the range a couple weekends ago who is a SWAT officer who had one and it was a fine rifle. He had it in a grayboe stock with the MLOK rails built in for Mlok bipods. He had a Vortex Razor Gen 1 on it and it made for a fine setup.

Any more input on this rig?

I keep thinking about one in 6.5cm at Gander that I held, and using that 20% off coupon on it to drop it to about $750 before tax. I thought about getting a 6.5cm for a different longer range hunter/target than my rem700 in .308 in a magpul hunter stock. Thought about maybe a 300wm in whatever other brand as well, but gander only has the 308 and 6.5.

TIA

For the money it's a great value.

My only issues with their rifles have been short stroking the bolt and causing malfunctions when trying to run the rifle quickly. Also it's not advised to use the magazine as a barricade stop as people are having feeding issues when doing so. The high 90 degree bolt throw is a turn off for me as well.

As far as product consistency is concerned, fit and finish on everything i've seen has been what you would expect at it's price point. They all seem to shoot well out of the box (minimal return ratio for "guns that won't shoot).

There's a whole facebook group dedicated to bergara owners that you'll find some issues with blowing primers on earlier models but seems to be resolved.

All in all it's what a Tikka CTR should have been.

(For the record I still would rater a tikka in a KRG bravo chassis)

I can make these happen on any bolt action rifle with a magazine.

I've owned or still own several Bergara rifles at this point. The HMR is an excellent rifle for range work and atv rides to shooting houses or hunting powerlines. They bring the suck if you have to pack one very far. I traded mine for a Bergara Ridge rifle due to using it mainly as a hunting rifle and having to walk a good bit. Imho their Ridge rifles are the best deal going for your money on the market right now. My only knocks against the HMR for hunting was I hated the extended mag. It made it awkward to carry in hand and I was always worried about losing it accidentally. That and the weight. Once scoped and a bipod added its a toad. But they're shooters and would hold .5moa or better with factory ammo all day long. So do the Ridge rifles I've owned
