Mister green jeans loves him some baited dove fields! Cracked corn, whole corn, milo, millet, it’s all good!

Cracked corn is the only answer to the question you asked.
If you would have asked a different way I would have suggested planting winter wheat and oats at the prescribed agriculture suggested rates.

Green jeans get out and scout for doves. When an area is loaded with doves and there isn’t a good crop reason why, they start snooping to find out why...

Not a very good idea, unless you'd like your gun confiscated along with any doves you killed that day, a hefty fine and probably a loss of hunting privileges for a year or more.
My wife's former boss got caught hunting over a baited field and all of the above happened to him. If I remember right, he lost his hunting privileges for 2 years when he went to court over this--------and he's a lawyer.

Do This:
Build/Buy a few wooden troughs and put them out near water or sand, fill with wheat.
The night before season opens go pull them up and take them far away from field, make sure no wheat spilled out.
It works

Too late now, but plant a small field in black oil sunflowers and bush hog some rows in it just before season. Doves will definitely go out of their way to get to these sunflower seeds.

Had a buddy buy a couple of telephone poles and attached cables to them to mimic power lines. You can guess what he does.

The damdest things happen every year. We just accidentally keep on spilling peanuts, corn, and soybeans during the harvest. But those fields are a treasure to shoot doves in.

why don't you just ask green jeans direct.

I have a big hunt every year SW of Gueydan. 2.3 miles down Ellis Bridge road. We just dump out millet, milo, and wheat for 3 weeks before the hunt. The funnest thing is to see if you lose count of beers drank or dove killed first!!!
