Auto waxing

Looking for suggestions on the best wax/polish for the first time application on a 3 year old vehicle.

From what I have heard, the graphene sprays are pretty legit.

I'm a huge fan of the Cerakote Paint sealant.
I put it on my truck 2-3 years ago and just now needing a new coat:
It's cheap and goes on very fast and easy:

Thanks for the replies. I’m just thinking that I might need some sort of polish to clean any residue before I apply a sealant.

Wash then clay bar first. Or get one of those “clay bar” towel things.
After that if you have light swirls this Griots 3-in-1 is pretty awesome on a buffing wheel.
For a wax, I’ve used collinite 845 for years with great results. It goes on easy and you barely use any per coat. I have about half about left after waxing my truck, wife’s suv, and my boat once a year for the past 7 or so years.
For a spray on ceramic wax you’d be hard pressed to find better than Griots ceramic 3-in-1 or Turtle wax ceramic spray coating for the price.
After that if you have light swirls this Griots 3-in-1 is pretty awesome on a buffing wheel.

Rinse

Just spray on, rinse off after washing vehicle, then dry completely. It really is that simple…

Depends on how much time you're willing to spend on it.
The long term option is a ceramic coating. But to do properly requires a lot of prep work. Though the coating should last years as long as you take care of it.
I don't have the tools or the time to do something like that. My truck is washed normally every two weeks, sometimes only once a month. I use a spray on wax like Sonax Spray and Seal. It does a great job of shining the paint and keeping it hydrophobic. And it lasts for over a month. It's very easy to apply: spray it on the vehicle while there is still soap on it then rinse off.
