I've got several in jail right now, Form 1s and Form 4s.

It's ridiculous.

One of each since last May are my longest.

Those getting them back in a hurry are non-Trust, military or LEO.

I was told the whole pistol brace SBR thing is what threw the process outta whack with over a million of those hitting the system at the same time .... and now those are on hold.

What a mess.

My last file Form 4 was 5-6 months. I'm getting ready to file a handful of Form 1s.

Whoever told you that was lying. They only got about 250,000 of those amnesty forms within the given timeframe.

For a can?
I have no idea why anyone would do F4 for an SBR.

According to silencershop, trusts should be moving up to individual times soon.

What’s the dude’s name? Easy to check Federal court records to see what he was sentenced for.

I just did a trust form 1 in 2 days.

And 11 of them were mine

I know some think it was bending the knee but I look at it as getting 2200 worth of my tax dollars back. I knew it would end up the way it has so far.

My last one from Silencer Central was easy as pie but took about a year.

However, my current one is a nightmare. Purchased a Banish 45 in October 2023, and they are running it through my current Trust.

Had issues logging into my account with them last year and they could never reset my password. Said they were having technical issues. Eventually had to submit photos via text message with one of their employees.

Haven’t heard anything since October so I tried to login and see what my status was. Still can’t login and contacted them. Said they are still having issues with their website and email system. The lady told me that I still had to sign papers and they have not even submitted my paperwork to ATF!

Said they sent me 2 emails with paperwork to sign in October and January but I have not received anything. She admitted that several people are having the same issue with these emails not getting through. I did receive an email when my payment went through!

I asked her why they didn’t reach out via phone or text message if they know emails are not working. She said they don’t do that. I guess they assumed I would pay $1,100 for something and just not be interested. Especially since they had to use text messaging for my photos.

She said they would resend the forms Monday. So I asked why she thought they would now show up in my email if they haven’t before. Her response, “fingers crossed”. Unbelievable!

So, for all practical purposes, I am 5 months into the process and haven’t even started the process. I asked if I could just cancel my order. Nope! I am beyond the cancellation period.

Very disheartening and it appears Silencer Central has grown so fast that they no longer provide quality customer service.

Will never use them again. In the future, all of my suppressors will be local purchases.

do your homework on that too. I was a full year into my wait when I found out precision in BR hadn’t even filed my form. “Mixup in the office, she’s not working here anymore”…and this is after a couple months of lying to me about my status

so two years was my total wait time. Conversely, Bowie was a breeze

that's a strange way to do business. the LGS i go to actually makes me sit at a computer that's logged into their eForms account and i have to enter everything.

i fill out my portion
they fill out their portion
they scan my prints
they take my picture
they upload it all

it all get's submitted when the same day i make the purchase.

So looking for a little understanding on the process. I do not have any NFA items at the moment. I have the intention to convert an existing AR lower into an SBR and eventually purchase a supressor. I intend to buy items in the future as well. Iflve decided that an NFA trust would likely suit me to have a way to include family members to pass these items on on the future.

Two things. I know a shop will assist with submitting paperwork, but do they help with the initial creation of the trust if one doesn't exist? Or is that something I have to set up separately? Second, my son is only 10, and wouldn't have access to any of this now. But in the future, is it just a simple process to add him to the trust and beprinted, checked etc. for all items within the trust?

Get your trust from here:

https://www.nationalguntrusts.com/products/buy-nfa-gun-trust

I believe you can set it up with with you as the Settlor and no trustees or beneficiaries, but the cool thing about that website is that they offer free email support. Email them, and they’re very quick with replies.

They also have YouTube videos that explain how to fill out each form. Lots of good stuff from them.

One of my best friends is an FFL with a silencer shop kiosk. He got one back this week in 2 days.

It was an individual and not a trust.

This is as simple as amending the trust with his name and info, and then getting the amendment notified at your local bank. That’s it.

Any purchases after this is done will require fingerprints, photo, and a responsible persons form will need to be sent to the ATF with the trust and any amendments since the last purchase.

Joey Cataldie is who did mine.

Just email him all the info and he'll set it up.

My kid is on mine, but I don't remember the legal term for him.

Democrat logic:
- we’ll throw you in jail for 10 years for failing to pay a $200 tax that we won’t accept for a year after you initially requested to pay it
- give $30k a year to each illegal, let people steal shite from Target and Walgreens as long as it is less than $900. Let rapists and murderers out of jail.

Got it done last night with National Gun Trust. Will print and have everything notarized as soon as I can, then submitting the SBR forms. Accidentally put something wrong in my cart when I ordered and they replied first thing and took care of it and asking to help. Seems like a good organization.
