I’m in a similar situation and hope all 3 will be approved together. I’m at 172 days on my oldest.

Where did you order from? SilencerShop is backordered on just about everything.

Third party. Shipped to a silencer shop dealer. I have to pay the transfer fee but the dealer and silencer shop still lets you use the kiosk for ease and ship off your form 4.

So there is a fee, but for ease of use that may be worth it. You could try Capital Armory. I saw the particular can I wanted was out of stock everywhere so I figured I’d just third party it rather than wait.

I purchased a suppressor at Jim’s on 6/21/24. Sent E form 4 individual. I was told they were getting approved within a week. I’m still waiting for approval. I called the ATF and they said it takes about 60 days.

I called SilencerShop and spoke to a rep and got on the waitlist for a batch that was coming in. They had 9 DeadAir Wolman’s coming in and I was #7 on the list. It took about a week for it to come in and ship to my dealer.

ATF wait time was 14 days..individual. This was last month.

Form 4 Trust going on 9 months, partially due to Silencer Central not having my correct email address Bastards could have called.

I am in the same boat. My first one with Silencer Central was great but these last two terrible customer service. Filled out everything last October but there was one final verification they needed. Said they couldn’t get an email through to me so nothing happened until I reached out in March if this year.

Was unable to login to my account on their website because it would never send an email to reset my password.

Currently have a .45 and .22 awaiting approval in a trust. Will never use Silencer Central again.

That being said, a friend in the St. Louis area purchased one in a trust from a local dealer and got approval in 48 hours. Haven’t heard of that happening but kudos to him.

Got approval yesterday for my .22 and .45 so hopefully they will be here in about a week.

This time it took 5 months once all paperwork was submitted. My last wait was 12 months.

I have another .22 lr that I bought last week. Waiting on the paperwork to be prepared and then hope it gets filed and approved quickly.

Did individual on this one again. Hopefully it goes as fat as my Spectre Cat.

I hate this thread. I had resigned to just being surprised when I got my approval. Now I see this and keep checking just how long it's been. Now I sit around wondering when it gets approved. Even bought some alignment rods this week.

Filing as an individual but eventually moving it to a trust. Does that make sense?

Also, any input on a rugged Alaskan 360 vs obsidian 9 as an all around suppressor (9mm to 300 aac)?

When I bought my first silencer, I told myself that I would buy that I could use on several rifles and a .22lr silencer as well.

I'm coming up on double digits now.

Last 2 I purchase have been as individual and am planning on moving to my trust at some point.
I'm pretty sure that I will need to refile for a trust tax stamp under the trust, but I'm not 100% sure as it's property that I own that is in the trust, if that makes sense.

I got my first suppressor last month after having to file twice and waiting a total of 3 years and a couple months. Said I’d never buy another one. Well I couldn’t get it to thread onto my 28 nosler for some unknown reason. Took it to the shop Tuesday and they had a silencerco omega that threaded on perfectly so I bought it and submitted my form. The guy said he’s been getting them back anywhere between 24 hours and 2 months. I’m tired of waiting already lol

What was the silencer you were trying to put on? Could the thread pitch have been different?

The suppressor is a Griffin bushwhacker 46. It came with a 5/8x24 30 cal brake that it quick mounts to. The brake won’t screw all the way down on my rifle. Not even close. We tried the brake on a different rifle in the shop and it screwed down on that rifle just fine. We measured the length of the threads on both rifles, they were the same. The omega 300 is a 5/8x24 direct thread and it screwed on my rifle perfectly. I have no clue what the problem is, neither did the gunsmith.
I ordered the direct thread mount for my griffin so I can put it on my 35 whelen. I’m figuring the direct thread mount is going to screw onto my 28 nosler, but really this whole situation turned out to be an excuse to buy a new suppressor. So I’m not mad about it lol

my understanding when I asked thus question to the gun shop is that you are transferring to a different entity (the trust), so you have to do the process again, and it's a little more difficult. You can't efile if I recall.
